Improvising for Actors Class

February 3 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
$195

Improvising for Actors is a six-week class for performers who want to strengthen their craft through spontaneity, play, and real-time scene work. You’ll use improv to sharpen the same fundamentals that drive strong acting: listening, presence, specificity, relationship, objectives, and truthful emotional response, without over-planning or “trying to be funny.”

Actors will learn what improvisational skills directors, casting agents, and fellow actors value. Improvisers will develop acting chops to improve their improv stage performance.

Daniel Zuniga has been an improviser for 10 years, and has completed improv curriculums at The Box & UCB LA. He has also performed on numerous improv troupes, and is currently part of The Long Con Improv team in Santa Fe. Besides improv, Daniel is an actor with The O’Agency and runs the sports media outlet, Couch Potato Sports.
